Butterfinger Donut

The Butterfinger candy bar was created in 1923 in Chicago, Illinois by Otto Schering, and we’re topping our downtown Donut with it this week. The Butterfinger Donut is hand-dipped in our yummy chocolate frosting, then covered with butterfinger bits, and drizzled with Reese’s peanut butter.

We will be open this Monday 8am-8pm for Martin Luther King  Jr. Day and Wednesday – Saturday 8am-8pm.

And you can always order online too.

Butter Pecan Donut

We are bringing back a customer favorite for this week’s Downtown Donut, the Butter Pecan Donut. This weekly special features our homemade butter pecan glaze and is topped with chopped pecans. Don’t miss out on this one, the flavors are irresistible!

Please note that we have new winter hours! Wednesday – Saturday 8am-8pm, and Sundays 6-8pm.

And you can always order online too.

Banana Stand Donut

In a series of escalating dares, we’ve created a banana stand donut. Banana icing, chopped roasted peanuts, and chocolate drizzled on top.

Arrested Development fans will appreciate this and even if you’re not, it’s still delicious. How much is a banana anyways, ten dollars?

Peanut Butter & Jelly Donut

School’s out, but we’re keeping it going one more week with a PB&J donut. This week’s Downtown Donut is sweet, nutty, and a tasty twist on everyone’s childhood favorite. Our concord grape jelly and peanut butter drizzle will give you the classic peanut butter and jelly taste we all love.

Coffee Glaze and Dark Chocolate-Covered Espresso Beans

We love coffee around here, and we’ve played around with a few ways of incorporating it into a donut.

This week’s Downtown Donuts is a glaze infused with our delicious coffee, lightly drizzled with a rich caramel, and topped with dark chocolate-covered espresso beans.

Also make sure to grab a cup of our Certified Organic, Fair trade coffee from Dynamite Roasting out of Black Mountain, NC.

Hibiscus Donut

These are so beautiful, it’s hard to eat them!

Our Downtown Donut for this week is a sweet and tangy hibiscus glaze and a few edible dried hibiscus pedals. So pretty, and so delicious.

Make sure to swing by the shop to grab a box as we celebrate a couple big dates this week:

  • National Donut Day on Friday, June 1
  • Our One Year Anniversary is Saturday, June 2!
